CONNER IVES X MAC VIVA GLAM
“Pay the dolls. Platform the dolls. Protect the dolls.”
What began as a statement T-shirt in Conner Ives’ Autumn/Winter 2025 finale has quickly grown into something much larger. Worn by the designer himself, the now-iconic “Protect the Dolls” tee became both a viral moment and a call to action — raising significant funds for trans-led organizations supporting community, care, and connection.

Now, Conner Ives brings that message into a new chapter, partnering with MAC Viva Glam on a limited-edition T-shirt and lipstick. Rooted in a shared commitment to activism, the collaboration continues Viva Glam’s long-standing legacy of giving back, with 100% of proceeds going to organizations advancing trans equality and healthier futures for all.
At the heart of the project are the voices of the community. Featured talents including Dominique Jackson, Green Kim, Josie Dupont, and Ivy Stewart reflect on beauty not just as self-expression, but as visibility, protection, and power. As Green Kim puts it, “when we show up as our authentic selves, that visibility itself becomes a form of activism.”
The original T-shirt has already demonstrated the tangible impact of fashion as a tool for change, with proceeds supporting initiatives such as Not A Phase, a UK-based trans-led charity delivering community programs, events, and safe spaces for thousands of trans and gender-diverse people.
With this new collaboration, the message remains clear: showing up matters. Whether through fashion, beauty, or everyday action, the call continues — to support, uplift, and protect the dolls.
The MAC Viva Glam × Conner Ives collection launches on March 31st and will be available for a limited time.
