Child's Play
Games of make-believe, ’homemade’ stage productions where cardboard and tape turn into perfect crowns and swords while blankets are pretend dresses and capes. These are the first pieces of performance we enact as kids. Sliding into characters through costumes we satiate an innate need for fantasy, for living it. This is a bittersweet ode to those acts of creation, to child-like wonder and to holding onto it.
