Seen the latest fashion shows and wondered who made these headpieces?
They’re the work of London-based milliner Noel Stewart, one of the most influential designers of sculptural hats and masks for runway and couture.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art, Stewart trained under legendary milliner Stephen Jones, learning the technical skills and artistry that would shape his career. Since launching his own label, he has become known for bold, architectural designs that transform headwear into statement pieces, blending traditional millinery with experimental materials and theatrical silhouettes.
Stewart has collaborated with some of fashion’s most celebrated houses, including Givenchy, Valentino, Balenciaga, and Vivienne Westwood, and his creations have appeared in editorials for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Dazed.
For the AW26 season, his work featured in runway shows including Oscar Ouyang, Lanvin, and LUEDER, with masks and hats that became some of the season’s most talked-about pieces.
